Angela Krkyan 

Angela Krkyan is from Marash. In 1918, her ancestors were obliged to relocate in
Aleppo because of the devastating consequences of the Armenian Genocide. Then, during the war in Syria, they finally moved to Armenia and since then (2014) they are unitedly creating a new reality here with big hopes of a brighter future. Angela is a girl from a family where every member is an art enthusiast and esthete. Therefore, she expresses and materializes her beauty perceptions through her creatings, more
particularly through illustrated cups and scarfs. Her works are uniquely covered by Armenian symbolism (bird letters, Armenian alphabet, Ararat, pomegranate, etc.) and made with great passion. Angela is intended to spread love and warmth through her crafts. Moreover, it is all not just a hobby, as she is a professional graduated from Fine Arts University in Syria. She also mentions that in current reality it is very accessible and easy to print any figure/image on any thing we wish, however we should notice that “hand-made products” are evidently more vivid and heartfelt.
